When I saw this sketch by Shawna I was transported - 1980, my first record deck. It wasn't an antique in it's own case like this beauty but it lasted for years and in fact 29 years later I'm still only on my second - yes - I still have a deck and a vinyl collection, but it's not like that first one...

I'm pleased that I was able to inspire those good 'ole fashioned memories. I have to admit that I'm more addicted to vinyl than any other type of recorded music right now! I love the warmth and texture that fills the room. This song by The Flying Burrito Brothers is currently playing.
